Rake to fill water holding depressions and to make a flat smooth surface for better bonding.
5. Install sod making sure the joints are staggered and the pieces are pressed tightly together. Sod should be installed as soon as possible or no later than 24 hours. 6. Water within one hour of laying with enough water to soak the topsoil to a depth of five centimeters (2 inches); then, every 2nd day for 2 weeks. Water evenly and slowly so that it penetrates to a depth of five centimeters. Water in the evening for best results. 7. Mow after one week at a height of four centimeters (1- ¾ inches). Keep mower blades sharp. 8. Enjoy your lush living carpet of green. It will enhance the beauty of your property.
