If you need help this spring with new beds or clean-up, a call 498-4515 ... I have decided to retire from the garden centre since life is so short.
Although I am looking forward to retirement, I will miss working in the
garden centre and with my former clients and colleagues. I, however, will
still be working with my crew and doing bed designs and landscape projects. When I started in the garden industry – there were no cell phones –
no computers – no debit machines - how time flies! While I look forward to the
new opportunities retirement will bring me, it still saddens me to be closing.
I have been in the garden centre for 31 years and have enjoyed every
moment of it – well except the rain, snow, sleet and this year – the wind.
It is with much thought and deliberation that I have made this decision. After
discussing this with my family, and considering my personal goals, I believe
that I have made the right decision. I have given my best over the years and I
am proud of my accomplishments. It is time for me to retire from the garden
centre while I can still walk. Should you require any assistance after I leave, please do not hesitate
to contact me.
