quarts Apples cut into slices (leave skin on & core in) |

quarts boiling water |

teaspoons Cream of Tartar |

1-1/2
cups sugar |
Pour
boiling water over sliced apples. Add cream of tartar. Mix.
Cover and leave for 24 hours. Drain juice into large pot. Heat and
add sugar. Bring to a boil and boil until sugar is dissolved. Put
into a container. Old milk cartons are ideal. Can be frozen and used
later. Remember not to fill containers to the top as the juice will expand
when frozen.
